Turkish Industry Holding, a Turkish industrial giant, invested in the construction of a ceramics and granite factory in the special economic zone in the Nakuru Naivasha region, Kenya. Scheduled to be put into production in 2025, the plant will provide about 1,000 jobs in Kenya. What’s more, since over 70% of the factory’s production will be exported, it will prevent the country from losing $220 million a year in foreign exchange and generate $125 million per year in foreign exchange earnings.
Attracted by the first-class service and high-quality products SANY provided locally, in October 2023, Mr. Mehmet Coşkun, Chairman of the board of Turkish Industry Holding visited SANY in China to survey construction machines planning to use in the construction site. Before the meeting between the two sides, Mr. Mehmet raised the national flag of Kenya next to the Turkish flag in SANY’s industrial park for cranes to show his reverence to the country. With the story reached Kenya promptly, Mr. Ruto, the President of Kenya, was greatly appreciative of his contribution to the country.
SANY, relying on its high-quality products and first-class service, won the trust of Mr. Mehmet, and even became the friendship bridge between Turkey and Kenya.
